Kitchen Garden Workshop

Learn how to plant, care for, and harvest your own fresh produce on your kitchen counter or right outside your back door in this fun and informative workshop.

Calgo’s nursery manager, Taylor Edgington, will be leading the class along with aeroponics (soil-free tower growing) and microgreens specialist, Rosemarie Bird of Bird’s Family Farm and aquaponics specialist, Cody Parker, owner of Drop the Beet Farms.

Taylor, Rosemarie, and Cody will share examples of various styles of gardening including use of Veggie Pods, Sunblast Mini Greenhouses, tower gardening and aquaponic gardening. They will also be teaching participants the ins and outs of how to plant a garden, organization, timing, pest management, and companion growing.

Participants will leave the workshop with a lot of new gardening know-how and a free seed packet to start their own Kitchen Garden!

Complimentary appetizers will be provided by the Tulip Tree Café.
