A Day Of Wellness

Join us for a day of wellness that focuses on the health and well-being of the people who take care of seniors with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

When disease strikes, it effects the whole family but when Alzheimer’s strikes, it hits the caregivers particularly hard. Alzheimer’s disease is often called a family disease or the caregiver’s disease because the chronic stress of watching a loved one decline takes a toll on everyone involved. Caregivers forget or neglect to focus on their own health, needs and emotional support.

Over 25 area professionals and dementia-related experts and providers will be on-site to provide free resources, presentations, workshops, support, giveaways, and even prizes!

Learn about different resources while surrounded by a peaceful and nurturing environment and enjoy the opportunities for self-care and wellness.

Music, healthy food, and workshops will be offered and the event will end with a light dinner and a screening of the award-winning documentary, “ALIVE INSIDE.”

The event is free, but donations to Caregiver Volunteers of CentralCaregiver Volunteers of Central NJ greatly appreciated!

Don’t forget to join us this Saturday for our Fall Art In The Garden!
