Lavender Wand Making Workshop

Join art teacher and local lavender grower Mariagrace Welsh, to learn tips on growing lavender and create a beautiful lavender wand using fresh lavender.

All supplies included. Each student will also receive a bundle of either fresh or dried lavender to take home.

Mariagrace grew up on a 200 acre vegetable farm in Monmouth County and has always loved to garden. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, she planted a field of 100 lavender plants on her family’s farm In Millstone Township.. She is a passionate and award-winning art educator with twenty years of teaching experience and currently teaches grades K-2 art in Hightstown, NJ. She enjoys experimenting with lavender crafts, creating art using old barnwood and loves to travel. Follow her @mrsartteacher @parsleyandbasildesigns
