In this class, you’ll discover how to prepare for outdoor adventures by learning about herbs and herbal products that support you and your family during unexpected situations.  From encounters with bees or wasps to minor injuries like scrapes and bruises, you’ll explore the uses of fresh plants in your backyard as well as salves, tinctures, loose herbs, supplements, and more.  I’ll share my essentials and teach you how to use each herb effectively, empowering you to create your own personalized herbal tool kit. Whether you’re embarking on a hiking trip or enjoying backyard adventures, understanding herbal remedies can alleviate anxiety when accidents occur.  Gain confidence and feel supported by nature’s gifts as you learn to harness the power of plants for your well-being during outdoor excursions and travels.

With a solid foundation in herbal studies from David Winston’s renowned Two-Year Herbal Studies Program and Graduate Program, Michele has honed her skills and deepened her knowledge of botanical medicine.  Her 22 hours of supervised clinical practice has provided valuable hands-on experience in applying herbal remedies to support health and wellness.  Additionally, she has delved into the art of Ritual & Smoke under the guidance of Amanda Crooke from Locust Light Farm, further expanding her expertise in herbal traditions.  Through attendance at various herb conferences across the northeast, she remains committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest developments in herbalism.
