Create a Meaningful Mala Necklace with Lydia and Kathleen

May 17 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$95

Join Lydia & Kathleen for a magical night of creating a meaningful Mala necklace!

This necklace will be adorned with beautiful gemstones and wooden beads, serving as a tool for counting the name of the Divine 108 times, a practice known as Japa.In Sanskrit, Japa signifies the repetition of a mantra or the name of Divine power. The root word “jap” means to utter in a low voice, while “Mala” translates to garland. Together, this necklace serves as a Japa Mala, a sacred accessory used for chanting mantras and invoking the names of Divine power.

By participating in this activity, you’ll not only create a stunning piece of jewelry but also engage in a spiritual practice known as Nama smarana. In Sanskrit, “Nama” means name, and “smarana” means remembering.

Through the act of crafting this Mala necklace, you’ll be immersed in a meditative experience, infusing each bead with intention and devotion. Please let us know if you’re interested in joining us for this meaningful endeavor. We look forward to coming together in creativity and spirituality.
