Art-full Tuesday: Aromatherapy Bracelet Workshop

Join us for an afternoon of fun creating your own aromatherapy bracelet!

Essential oil educator, Amanda Mancini, will be teaching us how to create unique bracelets using healing gemstones and essentials oils to support emotional and physical well-being. A large assortment of bead colors and charms will be available so that your bracelet will be a reflection of you.

The fee includes basic components for one bracelet. Additional bracelets can be made for $12 each, and charms are $2 each. Essential oils, sample oils, and kits will be available for purchase.

This beginner's class includes all supplies (including driftwood) and a one-on-one tutorial. You will be standing for the duration of the class (you'll be working on clothing racks) so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

The Buzz about Bees

Enjoy dinner, discussion, and a workshop!

The evening will begin at 5:30 with a light meal, dessert, coffee and tea (you are welcome to BYOB) provided by Chef Heidi of the Tulip Tree Café and will be followed by a discussion about the importance of bees and a workshop, both facilitated by Rhonda Loux Tomko of Tree By Streams Microfarm.

Each participant will make and take home:

• A 6 oz. beeswax candle
• A total of 1 yard beeswax wraps
• A 4 oz. jar of seeded honey

Learn how to create a kitchen garden in your home or just outside your doorstep!

In this is informational workshop led by Calgo Gardens' Taylor Edgington, you will learn the ins and outs of creating a kitchen garden that will result in the convenience of fresh veggies and fruits ready to incorporate into your home-cooked meals and you will leave with a free packet of seeds to start your garden off right.

Terrarium Building

Join us in the potting shed!

Calgo staff will provide guidance as you build your masterpiece from a variety of plant options from our greenhouse collection, pottery and terrariums in which to plant them, and plenty of accessories to add a decorative finishing touch.

Building a terrarium is the perfect way to introduce nature into your home by providing a little ecosystem designed for your plants, whether they be ferns or succulents.
