Are you ready for spring? We are! And we’re kicking off the season with our annual Spring Art in the Garden event on Saturday, April 27, from 10am–4pm! This year we’ll be featuring the work of over 50 artists, both old favorites and new to Calgo, all showcasing their carefully curated art and wares.
Celebrate the change of seasons with us as you stroll the Calgo campus, enjoying live music by Sheri Gilmore, Keyboardist Pete, and Billy Simmons. You can also take a break on our shady patio which is the perfect place to relax while you enjoy the delicious farm-to-table fare of The Tulip Tree Café. In fact, Chef Heidi has prepared a special menu in honor of the day.
Finish with a homemade ice cream sandwich… or start with one—we won’t judge!
We have been working hard to make Calgo Gardens spring-ready with our newly installed trellis—the perfect background for our butterfly garden which is starting to sprout!
The greenhouse is overflowing with blooms, a variety of luscious green indoor plants, and succulents. And we have a multitude of containers: hanging, standing, organic, ceramic and more—you can be sure to find one to complement your décor!
Start planning or adding to your garden with our large selection of annuals and perennials. Of course The Barn is open and brimming with new wares, carefully curated and chosen to bring you a selection unlike no other.
The Tulip Tree Cafe will be serving a selection of Mediterranean-inspired skewers and home made ice cream sandwiches.
The Yoga Loft will be on hand from 10am–12pm with special discounts on yoga class cards.
Drop the Beet Farms will feature hourly tours—see their aquaponics system and fresh greens, herbs, and gourmet mushrooms.
Stop by Diana P. Lang Photography’s outdoor she shed studio and ask about her new line, Vestige Photos, in which she creates photographic art from your treasured heirlooms.
Flowers From the Farm will have locally grown cut tulips and anemones for sale—the perfect way to bring a little spring into your home.
We look forward to Art in the Garden every year! There’s something for everyone!
