Music In The Garden – The Magic of Music & Memory

Oct 3, 2017 | Special Events

Music has the power to heal and nurture everyone, but especially those who are affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Join us on Sunday October 15 for a day filled with music and surrounded by art to raise funds for Connection thru Music.

When we heard about Caregiver Volunteers of Central NJ’s program Connection thru Music, we knew immediately that Calgo should help by holding a fundraising event.

CVCJ provides support services to elders, veterans and others who are living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Connection thru Music, an amazing part of their services, pairs older people with young, energetic volunteers to use the power of music to make connections.

A ten dollar donation gives you:

  • Access to music all day on the patio
  • 10% off purchases in The Barn
  • 10% off farm to table cuisine in The Tulip Tree Café
  • Entrance to The Yoga Loft’s Wellness Fair
  • A fuzzy warm feeling for helping others.

Enjoy the afternoon relaxing on the patio while listening to live music. Performers for the event include Billy Simmons, Jack and Will Santoro, James Sleeman Trio, Roses Lees, Sophia Montalbano, Dave Vargo, and Vic Della Pello.

A  big thank you to our generous sponsors and supporters!

Calgo Gardens is grounded in the belief that nature, art, and positive energy feed our spirits. If “earth” without “ART” is “eh,” Calgo chooses to nurture earth’s ART. Our style and feel is the result of consciously living our philosophy—harmony by design. eARTh will be alive with posts about Calgo-style garden ideas, plants and flowers we love, do-it-yourself projects, new items from THE BARN—and all the dirt (and fun!) that’s happening at Calgo!
